Fiduciaire Muller & Associés announces the acquisition of Fiduciaire du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg. Florence Bastin and Marc Meyers, its partners until now, are developing their consulting activities via Flux Advisors.

Fiduciaire Muller & Associés (FMA) is growing. The firm has just acquired Fiduciaire du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg for an undisclosed amount. It takes over its accounting and tax activities, as well as its ten employees who have moved from their former offices in Luxembourg City to those of FMA in Strassen.

The integration took effect on 1 January 2023.

"We have cooperated on some projects in recent years, which indicated our interest in taking over their activities. We have great respect for their expertise and values, which we share,” says Laurent Muller, managing director at FMA. The acquisition is part of a “desire to establish its critical size and increase its attractiveness to serve SMEs in Luxembourg.” It will enable the company to broaden and strengthen its offer in the fields of “accounting and tax expertise and salary calculation, in order to anticipate and meet the needs of Luxembourg companies in a rapidly changing sectoral environment and in the face of constantly evolving legislation.”

Parallel development of Flux Advisors in consulting

Together, the accountancy activities of Muller & Associés (€4.3m) and Fiduciaire du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (€1.7m) represent a turnover of €6m--according to the directors of FMA--and a team of 52 employees.

The former partners of Fiduciaire du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, Bastin and Meyers, will now concentrate on advising the managers of companies, particularly family businesses, through their dedicated company, Flux Advisors. Meyers will also continue his work as a certified auditor with Baker Tilly Audit & Assurance. “It is a delicate and well-considered decision to sell the company we founded. I would like to sincerely thank all our employees for their commitment,” concludes Bastin.
