Luxembourg’s Philharmonic orchestra plays a merry host of classical compositions by Emmerich Kálmán and Johann Strauss for its “Neijoersconcert” (new year’s concert).
Placed under the patronage of Grand Duke Henri, the concert is a must for classical music lovers. The orchestra will be conducted by Nikolaj Znaider (pictured) and the musicians will be joined by soprano Aga Mikolaj, tenor Joel Prieto and baritones Iurii Samoilov and Till von Orlowsky.
Proceeds from ticket sales from this event will go to charity. The concert will be broadcast on Luxembourg’s radio 100,7 on 14 February.
