Probably not everyone’s idea of a Valentine’s date movie, Neil Marshall’s comedy horror debut is being screened at Kufa.
Filmed partly in Luxembourg, “Dog Soldiers” was Marshall’s debut feature. A horror comedy in the best tradition, made with real energy and flair, the film won the top prize at the Brussels International Festival of Fantasy Film in 2002. Marshall was a guest in Luxembourg at the following year’s Melies d’Or awards ceremony hosted by the now defunct Cinénygma festival.
He went on to write and direct the acclaimed horror film “The Descent” as well as direct two classic episodes of “Game Of Thrones”.
