One of the most popular local festivals in Luxembourg, the Nëssmaart (nut market) sees Vianden’s streets come to life.
The fair dates back to 1935 and was relaunched in 1970. It still attracts healthy crowds from the rest of the country and from across the border.
Stands sell nuts and walnut-based produce such as fresh bread and liquor and there’s entertainment for all ages. And there’s also produce on sale for anyone with a nut allergy. Why not combine this with a visit of the famous castle and its medieval delights?
