The CinEast festival is hosting a special evening at Rotondes to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the foundation of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
The Baltic Party starts with the screening of a short comedy followed by an entertaining quiz about the three Baltic countries.
The main attraction, however, is a performance by dream pop collective Polifauna from Latvia, who have drawn inspiration and been likened to the likes of Slowdive, Mazzy Star and Cigarettes After Sex. Recently released debut album “You Look Like a Lost Soul”, earned the band several positive review.
The party climaxes with a set by the Riga Disco Blitz DJs – a collaborative project by Latvian DJs AAAtoms and Heincha.
A selection of traditional Eastern European dishes and drinks will be available throughout the evening.
