UK garage rock quintet returns to Luxembourg to promote fifth album “V”. Those lovely people at Kufa have given Delano 3 pairs of tickets to give away to readers.
The Horrors have always been on the verge of something huge, even when as 20-year olds they released home-made garage-rock debut album “Strange House” in 2007. Subsequent albums have seen the band mature and experiment with different styles and influences, culminating in September’s “V”, which was the first time they have worked with an outside producer. Paul Epworth’s ear for a hit has resulted in an album packed with anthems like ‘Machine’ that bring to mind the stadium rock moods of Depeche Mode. The AV Club review said the album confirmed The Horrors as “one of the most consistently surprising, most artistically sophisticated, simply greatest rock bands working today.”
Delano has 3 pairs of tickets to give away to next week’s show down at the Kulturfabrik in Esch. To enter, simply take the quiz below.
