US national Mike McQuaide invites the public to discover his new book “An American in Luxembourg”.
The book charts this quirky expat’s adventures since quitting his Seattle-area home to move to Luxembourg with his wife. He quickly established himself as a quirky character in the Luxembourg landscape when he created a Twitter and Facebook account “An American in Luxembourg”.
When Delano Magazine featured McQuaide in its June edition, the avid cyclist, English teacher and all-round friendly guy explained he initially did this to show friends back home what Euorpe was like.
“Pretty soon, it was mostly all Luxembourgers following it or a lot more Europeans than people from Bellingham. I’m sure they’ve forgotten about me,” he said at the time.
No doubt the launch of this book, published by St Paul Editions, will give them a nudge.
