For the first time in its auspicious history, Top Squash in Sandweiler is hosting an exhibition match.
Top Squash has invited New Zealand no.1 and world no.9 Joelle King to play an exhibition match against Top Squash’s newest coach, Luca Visona. It should be an entertaining match, with both players providing spectators with some thrilling squash. Joelle King reached no.4 in the WSA rankings before an Achilles injury, but she is now back in the top ten.
After the match, King will be available for a Q&A session with spectators. What’s more DJ Kirsty Sutherland will “ensure that the atmosphere is top notch,” says Top Squash’s director of squash, Nathan Sneyd.
The match will be played on the centre court, but tickets are limited. However, they include the chance to win one of five tombola prizes, including a one-month membership to Top Squash, a 40-minute coaching lesson, racket re-string and re-grip, a 40-minute personal training session, and dinner for two in the Top Squash brasserie. Tickets can be obtained from Top Squash staff.
