Luxembourg's east is peppered with countless orchards, from which locals make some tasty products like cider.
This guided walk organised by the English-speaking section of conservation group Natur&Emwelt, offers an insight into the importance of orchards, both economically and ecologically. Guides will highlight some of the conservation efforts that have been undertaken in the last decades in order to prevent this cultural heritage from disappearing altogether.
The visit of the Ramborn Cider farm will focus on the numerous traditional apple varieties of the region and give you an insight on how their famous cider is made. This will be followed by a tasting of some of their different fruit juices and cider. The walk runs from 2pm to 4pm and is immediately followed by the cider tasting at Ramborn.
