Ever wondered how laptops look on the inside and what makes them tick? In this short, hands-on course on disassembling and upgrading your computer, held as part of Geek Week Luxembourg, participants will take a laptop apart (and then put it back together).
Learn how things have hanged in computers, when an old laptop is too old and how to make the most of it when it's not.
Joe Kutzera will show the group what individuals can do to repair and upgrade a laptop. He'll explain how to safely open laptops and replace parts such as the hard drive and memory.
Some laptops and tools are provided. If you have an old device at home, you are invited to bring it and learn which upgrades make sense.
