Now in its 25th edition, the Relais pour la vie is a race against cancer, where teams help fundraise to support cancer prevention, research, as well as those impacted by the disease.

This year’s edition took place over 25 hours, an hour longer than the 24-hour period in years past.

In his tweet, prime minister Xavier Bettel called the event a “moving moment where peace and suffering” coexist.
