Nathalie Dondelinger, 43, who created online recruitment application Kliber, and Alexandra Fernandez Ramos, 40, who is behind hotel search engine Travelsify, were honoured at a ceremony on 27 April at Bil.

“We received 25 submissions, which is twice the amount received in past editions, and they were all of a particularly high caliber,” Bil CEO Hugues Delcourt said at the ceremony.

The two laureats were not concerned about having to share the trophy. “It would almost have been a shame if there had only been one winner,” said Fernandez Ramos. “We share the same experiences and it is comforting to receive these honours sometimes.”

“Beyond this award, this adventure has enabled us to get to know the other finalists and share our experiences,” said Dondelinger, adding: “And we will keep in touch."
