In addition to parts of Kirchberg and Belval, the CFL multimodel centre in Dudelange, the automotive campus in Bissen and a frequently congested section of road are being considered for the pilot phase, the government revealed in a press statement.

According to the government, the networks will play an essential role in national infrastructure, enabling the next wave of productivity and innovation in different sectors of the country’s economy.

The pilot forms part of Luxembourg’s 5G strategy, which follows the European 5G roadmap.
