Among the lucky eight are Fundsquare, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, dedicated to the cross-border distribution of investment funds.

Start-up PostmiiCard has developed a mobile application to allow tourists to print their photos and make real postcards, including customizing them as they please via augmented reality technologies. They will be joined by CoinPlus, which has developed a virtual currency exchange platform, CarPayDiem, enabling motorists to pay electronically for fuel at the petrol pump and which won the 2017 Fintech Awards.

Also at the pavilion will be artificial intelligence musical composing tech firm Aiva Technologies, which won the 2017 edition of the Pitch Your Startup contest, virtual reality software movie firm Virtelio, virtual reality city tour firm VR Time Travel and Motion-S, whose application provides precise data on driving and mobility and who won the first edition of the Mind & Market forum in Luxembourg.

The eight were selected by Luxinnovation and the European American Enterprise Council to be part of the first Luxembourg pavilion at the show, which brings together some 200,000 professionals from 9 to 12 January, 2018.
