With an interior designed by EGB Interior Design (with the project managed by Sophie Braconnier) and graffiti by renowned artist Sumo, the very first physical atHomeFinance agency was inaugurated last Friday 21 September, by Luxembourg City mayor Lydie Polfer and representatives from atHome group.

The agency provides users of atHome’s digital real estate search platform an opportunity to meet their home financings advisor face-to-face. "Based on the observation that 50% of users are ready to make a purely digital approach, it is important to offer a digital experience combined with the prospect of an off-line personalised human encounter," says atHomeGroup CEO Luca Rosetto.

The move to open a physical space follows the acquisition, just six months ago, of Credit Expert Luxembourg. A team of five on-site consultants can help customers find the most suitable mortgage to finance a new home, as well as provide advice concerning outstanding balance insurance or the refinancing of home loans.

The agency has an open space reception and café area in an industrial feel and more cosy, privatised consultation offices. It is meant to reflect “both a young, dynamic and open mentality, while maintaining a familiar and reassuring aspect,” says atHomeGroup general manager Tim Pittevils. Located on the route d’Esch, the agency can be visited by appointment Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Editor’s note: A previous version of this article said, based on a company press release, that the agency’s interior was designed by Sophie Braconnier. She was the project manager at EGB Interior Design. This was updated on 27 September 2018 at 12:15pm.
