While Dupuis’s background had nothing to do with his current activities at Prestige Motor Racing, it did not stop him from tackling his new career. “I’ve worked in the petrol industry all over the globe, but I have always been a petrol head since I was a little boy”, he said. “I met a car investor that was doing a lot track day events and the opportunity to build my company focused on these kinds of events with my own cars presented itself, so I went for it.”

The company has four cars in the garage that are ready to be driven on either public roads or on a racetrack: a Porsche 991 GT3 RS, a Ferrari 458 Speciale, a Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster and a Porsche 918 Spyder (featured on Tuesday). “Most people do not have access to these cars. My main goal is to give a maximum of accessibility to these monsters. Even if it is only for a little ride. Those cars are truly special and will leave incredible memories to anyone.”

Pricewise, it ranges from €149 to take the wheel for a short while of the 458 Speciale or the GT3 RS; a 15 minutes’ passenger ride in the 918 will run you around €299 on the open road; and it goes up to €750 for an hour as a passenger (with a professional driver at the wheel) in the 918 on the open road. Prices for track events depend on the precise location.

“The performance of the biggest supercars like the 918 and the SV Roadster are phenomenal. To give you a little insight, a client in the passenger seat passed out on the Magny-Cours race track with the Lamborghini because braking at the end of the long straight at 280 km/h was too tough for him,” he said with a laugh.

The firm already organises corporate events, but Dupuis is currently developing a service which will allow his customers to drive real Formula 1 cars. That will require some serious training on smaller cars beforehand, but customers will get their hands on real Formula 1s nonetheless. “Our racing instructors are professional drivers [Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, among others] and are fully trained to give you the best bang for your buck in a fully safe environment.”

In addition, Dupuis offer sales and purchases of any vehicles but he is also a “rare car hunter”. If you want a specific car from a specific year with some specific options, he will get it for you. “If someone wants one of the most expensive car in the world--say a McLaren F1 of the early nineties--we will find it for him. As long as he has the funds, obviously.”
