Social media was buzzing in Luxembourg this week when a “Lauryn Hill in Luxembourg” event appeared on Facebook. According to the listing, the R&B singer would be in the grand duchy for a show at the Rockhal on 5 December. But an article by Pablo Chimienti in Le Quotidien has suggested there is some confusion regarding the gig.

As Delano discovered, a link to “find tickets” at EatMyTickets showed no listing for the concert, and there is also no mention of it on Hill’s own fansite. However, the 5 December date is still free, sandwiched between Hill's 3 and 6 December concerts in London and Amsterdam, respectively. So many fans were rightfully asking: is the social media listing a fake?

Further confusion arose when it emerged that re-sale site Viagogo does list the event. Prices were up to €246 as of 30 May and, according to the site, there were “only a few tickets left”. But Rockhal currently does not list the event and when contacted by Delano, representatives from the venue declined to comment on the veracity of the rumours.

Our advice: wait for official announcement and tickets sales via Rockhal before shelling out for tickets on resale sites.
