Each startup has three minutes and 33 seconds to present its project, followed by 2 minutes of questions in front of a jury of experts. The startup with the best pitch will win €50,000. But that does not mean the runners up miss out--the tech conference welcomes scores of investors interested in ICT and is the perfect opportunity for budding new businesses to find partnerships, financial backing and mentoring.

Last year the contest welcomed over 200 applications from all over the world, a list that was whittled down to 17. “We can’t wait to see what happens this year,” said Marton Fulop (Docler Holding), adding, “We are also planning to open verticals to other companies and allow them to own their own pitching session and vertical in different fields: fintech, cybersecurtity, insutech and regtech, space, tourism, e-commerce, media and entertainment, just to mention a few”.

If more verticals are added, the initial prize pool of €50,000 will increase. Past laureates included AI music composition firm Aiva, SESAMm and Wondermags. Could you be next? To find out more about the rules or apply online, visit www.pitchyourstartup.eu
