Cargolux became the world’s first GDP certified airline in January 2014, confirming its compliance with EU GDP/WHO requirements.

GDP (guidelines on good distribution practice of medicinal products for human use) certification assures the quality of and integrity of the transportation and distribution of medicinal products.

“GDP ensures best practice policies are upheld in the handling and transportation of sensitive cargo,” said Franco Nanna, Cargolux director of global logistics and chairman of IATA’s time and temperature working group.
