When it opens at the end of 2019, Casa Ferrero will bring together the Ferrero team which is currently spread over five sites in Luxembourg.

According to Archiduc, the new office, spans some 30,000 square metres above ground (and a further 45,000 square metres below ground) and will incorporate between 1,200 and 1,400 work stations.

The project, under the direction Perry Weber & Associates, was not straight forward. Ferrero had to convince developers Félix Giorgetti and Besix Red Luxembourg to combine two plots into a single construction site. According to Archiduc, a project was already underway on one of the plots and had to be partially demolished to make way for the new headquarters.

Located next to Luxembourg airport, motorway, the Grand Ducal golf club and a choice of car parks, the new offices will be even more connected when the tram line is extended to Findel in 2021.

Proximity to the airport, where Ferrero’s current offices are located, was reportedly a decisive factor for the food giant's international operations.
