The new services are available from the myguichet.lu portal where, according to a press release sent on Monday 16 October, people covered by the insurance scheme can:

  • request services;
  • ask for an online version of their details for reimbursement of sickness or maternity expenses; consult their personal data;
  • request a replacement social security card;
  • apply for a certificate of entitlement to benefits rendered during a temporary stay in Cape Verde, Québec, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tunisia or Turkey;
  • apply for a co-insurance certificate;
  • update their bank account details.

The system is accessible via a LuxTrust product or eID card from around the world and offers a secure platform for storing and accessing personal documents.
