Each year the Luxembourg Rose centre invites young women who are Irish or have Irish heritage and are aged between 18 and 28 to participate in the Luxembourg Rose Ball.

Candidates give a short performance or presentation during the gala and a panel of judges selects a winning Rose to represent Luxembourg at the regional festival.

The next glamorous ball is planned for 14 April 2018 at the Parc Alvisse Hotel Dommeldange, which candidates, their friends and family and any member of the public may attend.

The closing date for people wishing to be a Rose candidate has been extended to 12 February 2018.

Entry requirements

In addition to the age and Irish link restrictions, successful candidates must be unmarried, living in Luxembourg for a minimum of one year, have never entered the regional festival or International Rose of Tralee Selection. They must also be available for Rose Selection events and, if selected, be available for the region and international festival events.
