French cybersecurity firm Nes is to open a Luxembourg subsidiary as part of its international expansion. Maison Moderne archives

It is expected the Luxembourg will focus on computer risks in relation to the financial sector. Around 20 positions are to be created.

“Our presence in Luxembourg is a key step in our expansion in Europe and more particularly in the Benelux region is a market with great potential and research services offers proven cyber security”, Nes CEO Raphaël Illouz said in a press release published on 19 September.

He added: “We benefit from a unique positioning based on a long sector expertise, a complete offer, and an innovation at the heart of our concerns to meet the needs of our customers. We will invest heavily to strengthen our team and launch our trade policy on the region.”

The subsidiary is the first step in the firm’s international expansion strategy.
