A new platform allowing you to complete your tax return in English without any prior knowledge of tax has been launched by Taxx.lu, it was announced on 14 June 2018. 

According to a press release, the platform will, “Allow you to minimise your taxes in less than 15 minutes,” via a simple, yet comprehensive, questionnaire. “The algorithm set in place guides the user through the questionnaire that automatically adapts to his or her personal situation and the questions are formulated so that they are easy to understand by everybody.”

The user can then upload all the required documents (insurance certificates, incomes returns, etc.) via a smartphone. The system automatically checks deductible limits and offers personalised tips according to the user’s individual circumstances. Throughout the process, Taxx.lu also calculates your possible tax deduction.

Finally, you can print your official tax form, along with the scanned documents, and send it to your tax administration. The service costs €30.
