On 11 May 1867, European powers confirmed the sovereignty of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The Duchess of Cambridge, born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, married Prince William at Westminster Abbey in April 2011. The couple has two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
