- The economy minister is expected to announce this week that an industrial technology firm will build a new facility in Luxembourg. The roughly €100m investment will create more than 50 jobs.
- Cargolux is launching service to its second North American city from its Chinese hub. The freight carrier’s flights between Zhengzhou and Chicago will now fly to Atlanta.
- Three commercial real estate firms in Luxembourg--JLL, Inowai and CBRE--have launched an app that provides virtual visits of the Yris building in Gasperich. The app was developed by a French startup, Tailora.
- The International School of Differdange needs to change its name, the Council of State has said. Due to its recently enlarged curriculum and catchment area, it will be called the Differdange – Esch-sur-Alzette International School.
- The European Commission has unveiled the framework for a portable cross-border pension plan. The proposal will now be debated by the European Parliament and the European Council.
