Fernand Lepage has been appointed president of the national pension insurance fund (CNAP), succeeding Robert Kieffer (who has retired). His appointment will take effect from 1 July 2018.
A Luxembourg national, Lepage studied law at the University of Nancy II and the University of Social Sciences of Grenoble. Having completed his entire professional career in the public sector, he held various leadership positions in the social security field between 1992 and 2008 before taking on the role of senior advisor to the CNAP in January 2009.
