The 10 winners were selected at the end of a day-long pitching session that saw 29 startups from around the world present their businesses.

“The selection of the 29 startups who presented their plans was very varied, both in terms of the countries of origin and by the sectors of activity,” Diane Tea, business advisor and jury member, was quoted by Paperjam as saying. “I was pleased to see that the only start-up in the greentech sector was one of the winners.”

“Many projects are related to data analysis, which is very much in line with Luxembourg’s ambition to create a ‘trusted data driven data economy’,” said Michele Gallo, ICT advisor at the Ministry of Economy.
