British airline Flybe will cease flights between Luxembourg and Birmingham Flybe

At the same time, they will increase the frequency of flights between Luxembourg and Manchester.

“In line with common airline industry practice, Flybe regularly reviews the commercial viability of all its routes in line with its strategy to optimise its network. This has resulted in some changes being made to its 2017-2018 Winter programme on services where passenger numbers have remained below projections such as Birmingham to Luxembourg, which will not operate this winter,” the airline said a press release.

The two routes opened just over a year ago.

The airline further said frequency on the Luxembourg-Manchester route would be increased on Tuesday and Wednesday so it would be served every day except Saturdays.
