Now entering its twenty-sixth edition, this year the steel town will welcome some 80 bands, solo artists and DJs, which music fans can watch for free as part of Fête de la Musique.

Visitors can catch the likes of Irish acts The Coronas and Ryan Sheridan, Lea, from Germany as well as scores of local bands including Mad Fox, Seed to Tree, Go By Brooks and Versus You, when they perform across 10 stages.

The acts begin at 1pm and continue into the early hours, with small concerts hosted in local bars and cafés.

But if you can’t wait that long, there will be a small introduction on Friday, 14 June, when the Amis de l’Orgue de Dudelange give an organ prelude at St Martin’s Church from 8pm. The programme includes a tour of the church’s organ.
