The changes come as a result of the move of the Lycée Vauban from Limpertsberg to the Ban de Gasperich.

Affected lines & changes

  • Bus line 21 will stop at the new Lycée Vauban, at a stop called “Francophonie”, with a bus running every 15 minutes. The line will no longer end at P+R Lux-Sud car park. The duration of the journey between Luxembourg City train station and the Cloche d’Or, meanwhile, is expected to be shortened by 5 minutes.
  • Bus line 22 will be extended beyond the city train station, stopping at “Francophonie” outside the Lycée Vauban, as well as “Gerhard Mercator” on boulevard Raffeisen. It will end at P+R Lux-Sud in Howald. Buses will run every 10 minutes.
  • Bus lines 21 and 22 will be the quickest direct route for people travelling between “Charlys Gare” and “Francophonie”, with a bus running every 6 minutes.
  • Travellers coming from the P+R Lux-Sud in Howald should meanwhile use bus line 22 instead of 21.
  • Line 32 has been temporarily created, linking P+R Lux-Sud to the Cloche d’Or.
  • Timetables will be slightly amended in an effort to have a regular frequency, with the biggest changes expected on lines 21, 22, 24 and 28.
