The announcement of Baudot's death on 15 July was made public on Monday. Baudot was secretary of the LCGB’s construction section, having been with the union since 1994. He was also a councillor for the Kopstal commune from 2005 to 2013 and Rambrouch since the last elections.

The LCGB did not give details of the cause of Baudot’s untimely death, but sent its sincere condolences to his family, as does Delano.
