The one year old Luxembourg startup, co-founded by Antoine Hron and Pit Zens, announced the deal on Friday.
The funds will be used for a marketing campaign and to develop a mobile app, the company said.
“This fundraising was completed in a very short time of 6 weeks, Antoine Hron told Paperjam on 14 December. “We are therefore very satisfied with the result.”
“At the same time, we have applied for a grant from the Ministry of the Economy to strengthen our financial capacity,” Hron stated.
Klin provides “on demand” laundry services, including pick-up and drop-off at their customers’ home or office. The company uses “environmentally friendly” laundry machines and chemical-free dry cleaning.
The company received the Lux Future Lab prize during the Mind & Market innovation forum on Thursday evening, winning six months of hosting at the startup incubator.
Klin also received the top prize during the Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg competition in June.
