Bar “Le 18” offers our guests a new spacious and relaxed environment. This project continues the great History of The Hotel Le Place d’Armes.
Simultaneously refined and relaxed, “Le 18” is a vibrant living place. A stylish Bar with contemporary sophistication. The decoration and furnishings are custom made to fit the room and is a mix of patterns inspired by the bohemian elegance of the late seventies… As a master center piece, breaking with the classic configuration of hotel bars, Tristan Auer designed an impressive horse show bar to dominate the room.
The structure, the rough and simple materials, a soft lighting and the inner decoration bring to the Bar “le 18” an informal atmosphere, creating a soothing atmosphere to enjoy a drink.
The bar of the Hotel Le Place d’Armes is a place for meeting people and exchanging views, where you can stop, converse, read, relax, and where people can also have a casual meeting.
The inner courtyard, with its contemporary and timeless furniture from the famous Italian brand Paola Lenti, will provide a beautiful outside opening in the heart of the Hotel.
The selection of Rums of French, English and Hispanic influences, goes alongside rare and exceptional whiskeys. To continue to write the History of the property, Jean-Michel Desnos the owner, and Hubert Bonnier, the General Manager both wish to share the discoveries of their previous hotels adventures and experiences in the Caribbean.
When opening a hotel abroad, they met Thierry Hernandez, the king of mixology for more than 30 years and known for being the Parisian barman “to follow”. Sharing their passion enables them to make a chic and high-end bar menu. “Le 18” proposes prestigious, delicate and minimalist suggestions to enjoy either plain or in creative cocktails with some chic and gastronomic tapas.
“Le 18” is the ideal place for all the mixology’s lovers who wish to relax in an elegant frame in the heart of Luxembourg. The Bar is able to welcome fifty persons and can be privatized for a private event.
