The artisanal firm explained to our colleagues at Paperjam, that it was the former company owner, Génaveh SA, which filed for bankruptcy.

Company chief Alexandra Kahn told Paperjam she was surprised by the news, but said that the new company owners, La Luxembourgeoise du Chocolat, was not going anywhere.

“The company that bought the business is La Luxembourgeoise du Chocolat, and the business continues without any problem. We simply decided to continue with the brand Genaveh,” Kahn told Paperjam.

According to its website, the Steinfort-based manufacturer has been making hand-crafted chocolates for over 12 years.
