Luxembourg will on Tuesday and Wednesday host the first ever biospecimen research symposium in Europe IBBL/ISBER

Organised by the Integrated Bio Bank of Luxembourg (IBBL) with the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER), the 1.5-day event will examine the latest developments in biospecimen research.

International experts will discuss recent findings and developments in the field for human fluid, human tissue and environmental specimens.

Biospecimen research refers to the practices and recommendations for improving the quality of biobanked samples and increasing the reliability and chances of reproducing research outcomes.

Located in Dudelange, IBBL is a not-for-profit institute, supporting biomedical research for the benefit of patients.
