“It is now a question of making this vision concrete and of fully implementing the objectives and projects it defines, while maintaining the political momentum and inclusiveness of the cooperation,” Schneider stated.

Luxembourg was among the first member states that agreed to participate in the CSP as soon as it was established.

Schneider also held a bilateral meeting with Portuguese defence minister, José Alberto de Azeredo Ferreira Lopes, where the establishment of a trilateral cooperation between Luxembourg, Portugal and the Republic of Cape Verde in the field of maritime safety was discussed.
