The first concert will kick off at 7:00 a.m. at the Tram/Funicular Railway in Kirchberg district. Then, during eighteen hours, music lovers and visitors to the capital will enjoy a diversified and decentralized program! All concerts take place in twenty-six places spread over eight districts of the capital city : City centre, Central Railway Station district, Kirchberg, Merl-Belair, Hollerich P&R Bouillon, Pfaffenthal, Grund and Gasperich.   

 

The Fête de la Musique celebrates the diversity of music with a program that includes blues, rock-pop, metal, jazz, dixie, folk, rap, hip-hop, electronic music, alternative, Cuban music, chamber music, songwriting, cover, as well as newcomers and emerging talents. Both professional as well as amateur musicians will be on stage.

 

Entrance to all concerts is free. The organizers encourage visitors to use public transport.
