The fair, which this year marks its seventieth anniversary, is the world’s most important for the print and digital publishing industry.

“The aim of the Luxembourg stand is both to increase international awareness of the Luxembourg book landscape and to develop cultural exchange, as well as to develop relationships and networks within the international book industry,” the culture ministry wrote in a press release.

The Luxembourg stand’s motto is “Reading Luxembourg--Luxembourg, a language paradise”, and the selection of books featured reflects Luxembourg’s multilingual landscape with some four languages covered. Among them will be an anthology from Luxembourg English publishers Black Fountain Press, an interview on which will be published on Delano.lu on Tuesday.

The Frankfurt book fair runs from 10-14 October.
