François Bausch posted the sneak peek on Facebook and Twitter to create a buzz around the nifty new short-cut for people travelling to and from Kirchberg plateau. It appears to have succeeded: according to Facebook, the video had been viewed over 6,200 times at the time of publishing.

When it opens on 10 December, the funicular will relay passengers the 200 metres between the plateau and the new Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg train station in just 63 seconds. Four cabins are expected to be in operation, with the total capacity to transport up to 7,200 people every hour.
