In a statement sent out on 30 June 2018, bathers are advised that, in addition to the ban on swimming and other water activities on the Upper Sûre lake, a prohibition is now also in place for the Weiswampach lake. 

As for Remerschen, bathing is still permitted as there has been no evidence of blue-green algae found.
