Of the 600 individuals and groups that took part in the garden survey in January 2019, 85% reported blackbirds, 83% great tits, 73% house sparrows, 72% blue tits and 68% robins.

In terms of sheer numbers, house sparrows take the top spot, according to conservation organisation natur&emwelt, which coordinated the count.
