Ines Kurschat has been appointed president of the Luxembourg press council, according to an article published in paperjam.lu on 17 April 2018.
Kurschat, of the Luxembourg association of professional journalists (ALJP) takes on the roles as Paul Peckels’ (Luxemburger Wort) two-year tenure come to a close.
Other appointments confirmed were: Roger Infalt (ALJP) as secretary general; Paul Peckels (Luxemburger Wort) and Bérengère Beffort (ALJP) as vice-presidents, as well as Christophe Langenbrink (ALJP) as treasurer.
Luc Caregari (ALJP), Claude Karger (Lëtzebuerger Journal) and Emmanuel Fleig (Edita) were also elected as members.
