Graas, who is owner of Wonderchef India, MISB Bocconi Mumbai, Kuggor SA, Loriers Luxembourg, Patrimoine Roses and Hermès Luxembourg, succeeded Ambi Venkataraman as of 17 June 2019.

In a 2015 Paperjam Club presentation on obstacles and opportunities, Graas explained his great great-grandfather imported the first Model T Ford to Luxembourg in 1924. His parents, meanwhile, imported the first Hermès scarf to Luxembourg in 1968 following a trip to visit ancestors in the US.

He previously worked for Sodexo about which he said: “It bonded me and we went on to create various companies in Luxembourg and India.”

According to a post on the Indian Association of Luxembourg asbl Facebook page, new consular services will start this week.
