Under the “Go Digital” scheme, SMEs active in the sectors of trade, industry, crafts and catering will be eligible for help from a consultant who will probe their digitalization needs.

The service is aimed at raising awareness and providing information on the issues of digitisation, a professional diagnosis of the company with a list of recommendations, as well as support during the implementation of the proposed solutions.

“Small business owners often do not know where to start and ask themselves practical questions about, for example, the integration of digital into their daily lives or the costs of implementing digital technology,” the economy ministry said in a press release.

“The craft sector is evolving towards digitalisation. Our service will enable companies in the sector to remain competitive and conquer new markets,” general manager of the chambre des métiers Tom Wirion said.

The scheme is a partnership between the economy ministry, chambre de commerce, chambre des métiers and national innovation promotion agency Luxinnovation. While the programme is already active, four digital workshops will be offered in French and German on 20 March.
