In Luxembourg, some 2,200 companies are active in this sector which is responsible for 7,000 jobs, according to a government press release.

That is why the government is supporting the Luxinnovation cluster, which in turn supports the economic development of the sector and brings together industries such as architecture, crafts, visual arts, film and production and digital media, among others.

On Creativecluster.lu, people active in creative industries will be able to find job postings, calls for projects and information on events.

“The online launch of the new digital platform helps to bring together and federate players in the creative industry sector and facilitates multisectoral collaborations with other economic sectors, such as industry, at national and cross-border level,” secretary of state for economy Francine Closener was cited by the government as saying.

In autumn, the first edition of a new magazine highlighting work by cluster members, “Do Do Do”, will be published.
