Nyuko, which emerged from the merger of Business Initative and the co-working platform Impactory in 2014, will be headed by Karin Schintgen, current manager of the Lux Future Lab at BGL BNP Paribas.

Schintgen will also become CEO of the House of Start-ups, while the current CEO of Nyuko, Martin Guérin, will take over the role of CEO of Luxembourg City Incubator.

The company will move, along with the Luxembourg City Incubator, and the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) into the 4,200 square meter building Le Dôme in the Gare district.

Buck, who is chair of Fedil, the industry federation, said:

“This change is in line with the project of the House of Start-ups. Nyuko will have more means, and will enable it to grow.”

He added that he “has invested a lot of himself in this venture, and that the ecosystem has reached a certain maturity.”
