The authorities confirmed that the latest test results of 18 samples were negative.

Strict investigations of the concerned food firms continue as the rapid alert system of the European Commission is ongoing. Liquid eggs and frozen chocolate cakes have been removed from suppliers.

The press statement confirmed that no further traces of the insecticide have been detected in eggs nor in other egg products of Luxembourg origin.
