The water management service (Administration de la gestion de l’eau) and the fire and rescue services are currently analysing the extent of the contamination, which was discovered on Monday 29 May, and check which measures will be necessary to clean up the spill.

The source of the pollution has not yet be found, according to a government statement on 30 May.

A temporary dam has been installed to limit the impact of the pollution.
