Delano’s Summer 2016 “expat edition” presents special reports of interest to recent arrivals and longer term international residents.
Luxembourg’s international community plays an active role in organising a wide variety of team sports, just to start with. So for the cover story, Delano profiles six sports that range from high maintenance to ultra cheap, and which can all be played in the Grand Duchy this summer and beyond.
The special edition likewise includes features on Luxembourg’s healthcare system, housing market, support for international startups, multicultural training, good groups to join, and hot tips on what to do in the Grand Duchy and Greater Region this summer.
Then Delano checks out free speech and media freedom, the Luxembourg-Poland Business Club’s first summer ball, the EU’s newly minted bitcoin payment provider, the MP that wants personal trainers to get into shape, and natural ways to take care of your skin under sunny skies.
Also in this issue: where families gathered on International Yoga Day; a bar owner who can jump 20 metres, perform back loops and ride big waves; and the children’s coordinator for the British Ladies Club knows here you can take the kids for a spin.
Delano, the English language news magazine for Luxembourg’s international community, is available Friday 8 July for €4 at newsstands across the Grand Duchy. Delano also publishes a weekly what’s on newsletter, “Ten things to do this week”, on Tuesdays.
